Refund policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
1. Scope and contact
This policy applies to purchases from Wild & Wise Records Ltd. through www.dubsproductions.co.uk under Dubs Productions, Manipulated Sounds and ARACHNID WDS. It covers physical goods, digital products and licences, and any services purchased from us.
Company number: 14838090. Registered in England and Wales.
Registered office and postal contact: 100a Mora Road, London, England, NW2 6TE.
Email: contact@dubsproductions.co.uk.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights. Sale items carry the same statutory rights as full-price items. The consumer cancellation rights described below apply when you buy as a consumer; mandatory rights under the law applicable to your purchase are preserved.
2. Physical goods: change of mind
For physical goods covered by the statutory cancellation right, you can cancel without giving a reason up to 14 days after the day you receive them. For one order delivered in separate consignments, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item. You can also notify us before delivery.
Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel by email or post within the cancellation period. Then return the goods within 14 days after notifying us. Please contact us for the correct return destination: it may differ by product and fulfilment provider. Your cancellation is not dependent on receiving our approval. Do not send goods directly to Printify, elasticStage or a manufacturer without return instructions.
You pay the direct cost of a change-of-mind return unless we agree otherwise. Please use suitable packaging. You can inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop; we may make a lawful deduction for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function. We do not charge a restocking or cancellation fee for exercising a statutory cancellation right.
For a cancellation of the whole order, we refund the price and the least expensive standard delivery charge we offered. Extra charges for a premium delivery method are not refundable under this right. For a partial cancellation, we refund the cancelled items and any delivery amount that must be refunded by law.
Refunds are made without undue delay, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, and within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. We may withhold a goods refund until then where the law permits.
3. Merchandise, print-on-demand and physical music
Merchandise may be produced and shipped through Printify, and physical music may be produced and fulfilled through elasticStage. For purchases made from us, we remain your point of contact and their internal returns rules do not remove your statutory rights.
A standard product is not excluded from cancellation merely because it is printed or manufactured after you order it. Standard designs, ordinary size or colour selections and standard music releases remain covered unless a specific legal exception applies.
The statutory change-of-mind right does not apply to goods made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you. It also does not apply to sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software once you break the seal after delivery, or to sealed goods unsuitable for return for genuine health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. These exceptions do not remove rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet the contract.
4. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing physical goods
Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos can help us investigate damage or printing defects, but we will not make statutory rights dependent on providing evidence that is unreasonable or impossible to supply.
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose agreed with us and as described. Where these requirements are not met, applicable remedies can include the short-term right to reject, normally within 30 days, repair or replacement, a price reduction or a final right to reject. The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances and the law. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrect goods where required.
Report missing or delayed deliveries so we can investigate. A parcel marked as delivered is not conclusive proof that you received it. Your rights concerning delivery remain intact.
5. Digital products and licences
Digital products include downloaded music, instrumentals, beat packs, sample packs, software, plugins, Shopify themes and sections, and associated licences.
For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the consumer cancellation period is normally 14 days after the day the contract is made. If you expressly consent to supply beginning during that period, acknowledge that you will lose the right to cancel when supply begins, and receive the required confirmation, your change-of-mind cancellation right ends when supply begins.
Payment, receiving an order email or accepting general website terms alone does not replace the required express consent and acknowledgement. Where the legal conditions have not been met, your applicable cancellation rights remain. Until those rights validly end, you can cancel by contacting us within the relevant period.
After a change-of-mind cancellation right has validly ended, we do not offer an additional discretionary refund simply because you no longer want the product, selected the wrong product, or cannot use it on a system outside the clearly stated compatibility requirements. This does not affect rights where compatibility information was incorrect or incomplete, the product was misdescribed, or another statutory remedy applies.
6. Digital faults and download problems
If a download is missing, inaccessible, corrupt, incorrect or does not work as described, contact us with your order number and relevant error details. For software or theme issues, include your operating system, host application or Shopify theme details where relevant. Never send passwords.
We will investigate and provide the remedy required by law. For faulty paid digital content, this can include repair or replacement within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, followed by an appropriate price reduction if the legal conditions are met. Other remedies, including a refund where we lacked the right to supply the content, remain available where applicable.
Free products have no purchase price to refund. This does not remove any rights that apply to them, including applicable rights concerning damage caused to a device or other digital content.
7. Pre-orders and services
Pre-orders must be identified as such and state the expected supply arrangements before purchase. Taking payment for a pre-order does not itself remove cancellation rights. We will contact you about material delays; rights to cancel for non-delivery or other failures remain available under applicable law.
For a service bought online as a consumer, the cancellation period is normally 14 days after the day the contract is made. If you expressly request an early start and later cancel, you may need to pay a proportionate amount for work properly supplied before cancellation, where the legal requirements for that charge were met. The cancellation right ends on full performance only where you expressly requested it and acknowledged that consequence. Rights concerning a service not performed with reasonable care and skill remain.
8. Requesting cancellation or a remedy
Email or write to us with your name, order number or other purchase evidence, the product concerned and whether you are cancelling or reporting a problem. You may use the optional form below, but any clear cancellation statement is sufficient. Requests concerning a purchase made directly from another seller or platform should be directed to that seller.
